Why can't you just get Sky Broadband, without the TV package? I find it rather unsettling

If Sky did that then maybe they would get more customers.

But i think they reason for them to offer broadband to Sky television users is that they can have long term customers, as they know that their television service is the best and therefore people will use their broadband service and stick to it.

Default Current router for new SKY service

I have an existing home network and have signed up to switch providers to Sky. Do I have to use the new SKY router or can I just continue using the current one?

Default Broadband email account

I have created a separate thread for my query but wonder if you can help?

I have only just moved to Sky Broadband, managed to configure a new business related email account using MS Outlook 2003, it is for a new company I am setting up from home.

I have been sending & receiving emails fine, but noticed that despite setting up the account under my company name (.co.uk address), all of my emails from that account are showing from sky.com, took 45 mins & 2 calls for someone at Sky to tell me that they are unable to help as they do not support this MS package? - so in short, all of my business emails will show from my sky.com email address, no chance for me to extend my new brand and i will need to use 2 email accounts to function!

Despite 2 calls I still can't believe this is right and I wanted to see whether anyone out there might be able to shed some light??
