Thumbs down Toucan Policies

There are a few Toucan policies which are not acceptable.

1) Your line is ceased by BT and reinstated, you need to get your Broadband provided again by toucan. Normally they should just place and order and get it done. But what they do is until and unless you dont renew your package they wont get it done. If you dont you have to cancel your account and get Broadband somewhere else.

2) If you have to Cease and Re provide (CAR) i.e you are shifting your BB to another number or address. You have to renew or pay the charges. Normally ISP's do it for free.

Considering the price of their services I can understand them tacking on some surcharges to offset any losses they would assume in getting a new customer. They should share in the costs though.

Just because they're cheap doesn't mean they should be allowed to rip you off whenever they can.

Its the additional charges which you have to look out for................sometimes its best to avoid isp's who do this.
