Seems as though that is pretty standard across all UK Broadband companies - it just seems like such a long time!

12 months is a long time. I hate contracts as it is, and would be much happier with 6 month contracts.

It would be a good idea for a 6month contract, but then i don't think this would be something appropriate or affordable for the company.

If an isp would provide shorter contract lengths then i think they would make the cost of packages expensive, increase the cost of installation or other charges to make up for the short contracts they provide.
